Box Office (John & Judy Jones, 613482) opens for Parish Players’ production of ‘Me and My Girl’, Parish Hall nightly at 7.30pm. A home-grown, hit British musical, featuring ‘The Lambeth Walk’, ‘Leaning on the Lamp Post’ and our very own pearly royalty.

Babes in the Wood (Thornbury Musical Theatre Group). Come and cheer the hero, laugh at the dame and boo the villains! Tickets (Karen 853947): £11/£9 for raised seating, £10/£8 on the flat, family ticket for 4, £35 raised, £30 flat. Group booking concessions also available. Armstrong Hall, 7.30pm.

Thornbury Rotary Club Swimarathon at Thornbury Leisure Centre on three consecutive evenings. Proceeds to go to Cancer Research UK, Meningitis UK and local charities and other good causes.
